Fit

Who it's for, and who it isn't

For you if

  • You're an engineer stepping into leadership.
  • You're leading delivery without formal training.
  • You're a technical consultant or architect who has to influence without authority.
  • You manage engineers and want a repeatable method.

Not for you if

  • You want deep training in a specific technology or vendor product.
  • You're looking for motivational content rather than practical method.

  • Connect technical decisions to cost, margin and value.
  • Make your reasoning and trade-offs legible to non-technical stakeholders.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long does it take?

Most people finish in six to eight weeks at a lesson or two a week. It is self-paced, so you can go faster or slower without penalty.

Do I need to be a manager already?

No. The course is written for engineers moving towards leadership as much as for people already leading. If you influence delivery, it applies to you.

Is it tied to a specific technology or methodology?

No. It is deliberately vendor and technology agnostic. Examples span software, cloud, data, network, security and infrastructure work, and the method holds whichever delivery methodology you use.

Can my employer pay?

Yes. Many people expense it against a training budget, and we can provide an invoice. If your organisation wants several people trained together, see our page for organisations.

What do I get to keep?

The templates, registers and checklists are yours to keep and use on live projects, and you keep access to the lessons including future updates.

Is there a certificate?

Yes. You receive a certificate on completion that you can add to your profile or your professional development record.

Start leading with a method, not instinct.

The programme gives you the practical half of leadership that your technical training never covered.
